Bo Hogeboom photographer

About me

Before I ended up in IT in the 1980s, I was an actor, director, poet, writer and musician. Since retiring I've mainly been occupied with photography.

There are countless people who make beautiful photographs, but there's only one who sees things the way I do. I try to make dynamic images that pull the viewer in.

My work spans street photography, portraits, reportage, studies of the human body, and eroticism. I also use myself as a model for a photographic road movie on the theme of 'melancholy'.

I take part in exhibitions in Amsterdam, Milan, Buenos Aires and San José (Costa Rica), have work featured in publications, and self-publish photo books.

I'm affiliated with Punctum Photo Collective and kunstRUIM.
